Plaster of Paris
Melbourne based three-piece Plaster of Paris are health goths and natural rebels notorious for their fresh-take on old-cake live shows. Their theatrical pooformances taint an entire small cuntry town’s flour with ergot… as audiences sit back and enjoy the show.
The Psychic Hysteria releases (Oh Wow/Newcomer 7” March 2, 2017 and their LP Lost Familiar June 23, 2021) feature guitarist Ms Sarah Blaby, formerly of Remake Remodel, cult singer Zec Zechner, formely of Bracode, photographer-by-day / drummer-by-night, Nicola Bell, plus the album features synth by Amy Chapman and baritone sax by Maddy Mac.
Musically, they have a phantom limb in riot grrrl, and another firmly planted in a self-harming black hole. They bond in therapy to externalise their alien hand syndrome by extending a middle finger to the patriarchy.

We (Kurt & Kalindy) feel so lucky to be a part of such a nurturing and supportive music community. Thank you to everyone whose labour, commitment and passion makes it so.
This show is taking place on stolen land that belongs to the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to Elders past and present. Sovereignty has never been ceded, and a treaty has never been signed: this always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
The cassette release features a bonus track: Marville - Fiction.
Compilation mastered by Mikey Young. Curated and sequenced by Kurt Eckardt.
